These discs are designed to provide an aggressive cut rate and a smooth finish on tool steel, aluminum and any material in between. The products are said to be ideal for heavy stock removal, edge chamfering, weld blending, grinding, and surface preparation and finishing. Tiger Aluminum resin fiber discs are well-suited for grinding, blending and finishing. The discs reduce heat buildup to delay melting and prevent the disc from loading, resulting in higher cut rates, a long life and a superior finish, according to Weiler Abrasives.
