In good old eco-fascist Germany (and meanwhile most of the EU), open fireplaces are now illegal … has something to do with polar bears or some other BS. Nah, seriously: all our fireplaces are now supposed to have (glass) doors. When done correctly, the wood burns cleaner. However, it is now very hard to distinguish a fireplace from a TV and we are chopping down trees “to save the climate” faster than our forests can reproduce biomass from the CO2 in the air…
Was thinking about this, how one still would be able to focus something. Could having multiple layers of sensors work. With every layer further away the image would blur more and more. And out this info how it blurs, render a somewhat deblurred image?

The basic machine concept of the FiberBlade is based on the tried and tested flatbed guidance machine with a movable pallet exchanger table and a 2-axis cutting gantry. The fibre cable of the laser resonator is simply carried within the energy services drag chain. The plate pallets are exchanged fully automatically in a shuttle table arrangement. Cutting areas of the FiberBlade are 1.5m x 3m or 2m x 4m or 2m x 6m, and the fibre laser is up to three times more efficient than a CO2 laser.
