For the Ram; I picked up a 500A rated isolator, a three position heavy duty switch so if I needed I can use a switch position circuit for starting if the main battery dies and whatever the next heavier gauge spec’ed wire for the distance ran based on the batteries being mounted on a tray beside the chassis under the bed behind the passenger seat. I also picked up some fuses and a breaker though haven’t wired this into the truck yet. The Marine Heavy Duty Deep Cycle AGM batteries are the best. For lithium I found “INR” that are supposed to be the safest other than Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4). The laptop batteries I have are from Lenovo X200 series that haven’t had issues I’ve read about and are “IMR” so you want to make sure not only the charger and controller chip is good… the internal specifications are met also. I also used from Dewalt 18V and 20V batteries too where the batteries also have there own controller to meter and turn off the battery.

I just wanted to point out that the top road sprinter’s output somewhere around 1500W to a whopping 2000W or more (for the pure sprinters). 1000W would be considered dismal. The rest of your comment sounds pretty accurate though.

There are devices for loosening “frozen” nuts, bolts and O2 sensors on cars, They come with an assortment of preformed rigid coils and litz wire for forming in place where you can’t use the rigid coil. They are sold under names like Bolt Buster and MiniDuctor. They are rated at 1000 Watts, They are in the form of a hand held cylinder (pretty small),usually run on 120 VAC though also available for 12 volt battery operation, They go for $500-$600. They are not water cooled. I wonder whether one of those $40 Chinese ZVS ‘s on E Bay will do the job. The power supply probably does not have to be self contained, like theirs. Also, there seem to be a number of variants on E Bay, with and without fan cooling. Has anybody checked out the different models? All the Chinese ones come with a warning about switching power supplies. They start slow and if connected to the ZVS before the voltage reaches 12 volts, you blow the MOSFET’s I don’t want to reinvent the wheel. If anybody has had any luck building a DIY Bolt Buster, using one of those E Bay ZVS’s I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

The ECO mode promises extended run-time by using variable power, which starts low but ramps up cutting force and blade speed over rough grass. In fact, the RMA 448 TC does that on both settings, although the ECO mode runs less power normally to increase run-time by around 25%.
